Talented drum and bass producer Gabriella Bongo has teamed up with Australian folk-pop artist Alexander Mills to create a unique blend of sounds in the form of ‘Someone Else’. At the forefront sits Mills’ crystal clear voice, delivering deep, earworm melodies. Beneath, is Bongo’s detailed production that blends punchy snare drums with cinematic pads and ethereal string arrangements that combine to form a powerful dance cut. She sums it up: “I wrote the song when I was 16 and was still writing alone in my bedroom at this point. I knew that I wanted it to be a super dramatic and epic song but still also be drum and bass.” Gabriella started producing aged nine, and has since gone on to perform with an orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, and receive praise from Nile Rogers and Skrillex.
